Prince Harry spent an unforgettable 36th birthday celebration as he reportedly had a Zoom conference call with Queen Elizabeth and Prince Charles. However, Prince William and Kate Middleton were not around for this family get together.

Sources told Daily Mirror that Prince Charles made the arrangements for the royal family group call to please his second son on his special day. Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall, also joined in the call, as did Meghan Markle and her son, Archie.

Insiders said that the online gathering was "very pleasant" and Harry told his family that he misses them. The Duke of Sussex had cake and blew out the candles, delighted nearly 18-months-old Archie, as his family watched the video. According to the source, Prince Charles was thrilled to hear Archie calling him "Pa" for grandpa.

Prince William and Kate were apparently out for a royal engagement when this family group call took place. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge did not forget to greet Harry for his birthday with a photo post on their Instagram. While William missed the group call for his brother, a royal expert said that the two have been talking more to each other since Harry left for California.

Royal correspondent Katie Nicholl told Entertainment Tonight that Prince William and Harry talked to each otherduring the latter's birthday. However, the royal expert also said that it will take a while before the brothers could spend a "cozy Christmas" together.

Nicholl added that the distance between Prince Harry and his brother might have been a good thing for their relationship as it has allowed a healing process. The Dukes of Sussex and Cambridge are apparently relating better today than they were several months before.

Finding Freedom authors Omid Scobie and Carolyn Durand revealed that Prince Harry and William's feud started soon after the Duke of Sussex dated Meghan in 2016. The Duke of Cambridge was said to have advised his brother to take his time getting to know the Hollywood actress but that conversation offended Harry. It sparked a series of other issues, where Harry felt that Meghan, a biracial American divorcee, wasn't accepted by the royal institution.

The brothers also didn't speak for a couple of months after Harry and Meghan said they want to step back from their royal duties and live in America. The Finding Freedom biographers said time apart was what the brothers needed to heal from their rift.
