Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have issued a denial about their alleged reality TV show for Netflix. However, a source claimed that they are open to doing a documentary showing some behind-the-scenes videos of their royal exit.

A report from the Daily Mail stated that Harry and Meghan informed Netflix executives that they have homemade and personal videos taken during the events leading up to their step back from their royal life. This was apparently one of their pitches before they signed a multi-million deal with the streaming platform.

Speculations are that the home videos could include Archie Harrison's introduction to the royal family. It might also have footage of Harry and Meghan baring the souls about their frustrations in the royal institution.

The report went on to say that the planned documentary might either have someone interviewing the Sussexes or Harry and Meghan could present the show themselves. The details of the program are still being ironed out.

It comes as the pair issued a response to an earlier report from The Sun alleging that they are working on a reality TV show. The program is supposed to bring the spotlight on their charity work.

But, Meghan also want to have cameras following them around Los Angeles for three months so that the viewers will get to know their work and the "real her."  The source said that the pair envisioned the documentary's release in time for their first anniversary in the U.S., which will be in March 2021.

Following the tabloid's report, a representative of the Sussexes said that they are "not taking part in any reality shows." Instead, Prince Harry and Meghan are focused on an animated series featuring women who inspire, as well as a nature documentary.

According to Daily Mail, the Sussex pair has started hiring their production crew for their new endeavor. Netflix confirmed that Prince Harry and Meghan have "several projects in development" since they have a five-year deal.

Meanwhile, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have been attracting much criticism from the British public amid their recent appearance on television to encourage Americans to vote for the upcoming November U.S. elections. Rumors also surfaced that Meghan has political ambitions to run for the presidency in 2024, which might pit her against Ivanka Trump.

President Donald Trump also took a dig at the Sussex pair, especially Meghan after their political pronouncements. The president said that he is not a fan of the former Hollywood actress and then wished Harry good luck.
