Rising NBA star Devin Booker has decided to sell his Arizona home, described as a sprawling property located in the Phoenix suburb of Paradise Valley. But make no mistake, the Phoenix Suns guard has no plans of donning a new jersey anytime soon. He is just out to make money.

Booker sold the house, set in the Arizona desert, for $3.45 million and the young millionaire indeed made a significant profit. His take on the deal amounted to $200,000, which isn't bad at all considering that the Phoenix acquired the property just three years ago.

According to The Los Angeles Times, the selling price appeared to have been discounted by around $750,000, basing on the listing in February but it still came out a good business for Booker, who started earning a big paycheck for playing with the Suns in 2018 - the year that the 23-year-old inked a max contract of $158 million with Phoenix.

Why the home was offloaded was not mentioned in the report but it should be certain that Booker will miss the property, which counted as among his first major acquisitions funded by his flourishing NBA career.

"The estate spans an acre in Paradise Valley, a suburb of Phoenix located about 15 miles northeast of the team's stadium. Built in 2016, it boasts a sleek, modern style (and a surprising amount of green space given its desert setting)," the report described Booker's former home.

It can be assumed that in leaving behind the home, the Phoenix guard is setting his sight on a larger real estate investment, and the star can very well afford such a move. According to Clutch Points, Booker is among the batch of young NBA players whose trajectory is pointed north.

If Booker decides to purchase a new crib that will dwarf over the Arizona estate, the money will never be a problem. The player's long-term deal with the Suns will give him a hefty paycheck in the next few years. From the next season up to the end of his contract, Booker stands to earn an average of $30 million, which should be enough for the star to put more expensive estates under his name.

Booker is not expected too to bring his game elsewhere. His rich Phoenix contract is an indicator that the franchise intends to keep the player for as long as possible.

For his part, the star is certainly worthy of the pay he is getting. In the current season, Booker averaged 26.6 points, 4.2 rebounds, and 6.5 assists per game, and the numbers only get better. His accuracy is at 48.9% and from the free-throw line, he shoots at over 91%.

Booker also snipes from beyond the arc and the record shows he makes around four of 10 attempts. The young NBA star is primed for success and he is expected to take the lead next season in pushing Phoenix to barge into the playoffs circle. And the title run could not be far off.
