Ivanka Trump took the time to tout the administration's efforts on social media. She claimed that Donald Trump's presidency "has worked closely" with the private sector for the expansion of vocational education.

In doing so, she shared an article from the Wall Street Journal wherein the subject of apprenticeship is discussed. She noted in the post that she went to visit the Federation for Advanced Manufacturing Education, adding that it is an "extraordinary" program.

Netizens immediately shared their responses on the platform. But, instead of celebrating with her, many of them slammed and mocked the First Daughter amid the controversial billboard ad from The Lincoln Project.

The organization, which the New York Post described as an anti-Trump political action committee, erected two billboard ads of Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner at the Times Square. Each of the ads features edited photos of the couple, alongside the death toll in the United States and New York for Ivanka and an alleged "taken-out-of-context" quote of Kushner for his ad.

Netizens utilized photos of these ads to mock and poke fun at the First Daughter's post on Twitter. Many of them conceded that it was a great view in Times Square.

"I like your billboard," one critic said, adding that the ad captures her "essence and character." Another stated that she should go to where the ads are, noting that many of them "love" it. "You just can't miss them."

The mockeries toward Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner continued in the entirety of the Twitter thread. Many Twitter users kept on posting the photos of the Times Square ads as their response to her recent tweet.

Some of the critics even pointed out that the materials are her "legacy." Others, also, shared that they already visited the location to see the ads and described that they are "extraordinary."

Meanwhile, one netizen retweeted David Leavitt's post regarding the matter. The journalist said that it took Trump and Kushner months before they responded to the COVID-19 crisis. But, it only took them a day to respond to The Lincoln Project's move.

Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner's camp sent a letter to the organization a day after the ads went public. The letter, which their family lawyer wrote, "threatens to sue" The Lincoln Project if they refuse to take down the billboard "immediately."

The organization posted the photos of the letter on social media, as well. While it took them a day before they released an official statement, they said that the ads will remain in Times Square.
