Boruto Episode 172, titled "Sign of Fear," will be out in a few days. In the new episode's leaked synopsis, Boruto will get involved in an incident that will leave him in the hospital.

Twitter user Organic Dinosaur revealed Boruto would be sent to the hospital after suffering sparring injuries in Boruto Episode 172. The Team 5, composed of Yuino Iwabe, Kaminarimon Denki, and Metal, will visit the heroine and wish him a speedy recovery.

Here, the team will meet a young boy named Nattou. As a naughty and cheeky kid, he managed to manipulate Iwabe to follow his request.

He wants to have a "certain person's autograph," but this person is said to be a ninja that everyone fears. Iwabee and the rest of the team will first refuse his request.

But knowing he will soon undergo major surgery, they will eventually give in. They plan to get this autograph for Nattou in any way they can.

According to KabarluMajang, Boruto Episode 172 will first present some filler before featuring the training and Kara arcs. Boruto's injuries are believed to be from his sparring against Shojoji.

However, with his team's reaction, it seems like his injuries are not that bad. So, Boruto will be fine on Boruto Episode 172.

The previous episode revealed the return of one of Boruto's greatest rivals of all time, Shojoji, Video Tape News reported. The leader of the Mujina Bandits wanted to see the real strength of Naruto's son.

Shojoji told Boruto he didn't forget him, remembering how strong he is. The missing-nin was in prison and the only way he could lessen his sentence was if he would survive and win a fight against Boruto.

Boruto managed to overpower Shojoji after they fought together before. Now that Shojoji was fully motivated to defeat Boruto, things didn't come easy.

Sasuke removed Shojoji's cuffs and the battle started. Shojoji couldn't help but praised Boruto's Jutsu. Boruto worked really hard to master his new Rasengan, and this fight was his big test.

Once again, Boruto managed to overpower Shojoji with his new style. The latter's old fighting techniques were no match to his new Rasengan that made Kakashi impressed.

Boruto Episode 172 is set to be out on Sunday, October 31, at 5:30 p.m. Japan Standard Time. Fans can see the new episode on Crunchyroll and Hulu in its original Japanese audio with English subtitles, while Viz Media airs in English dubbed version.
