Jimin had a dance background before becoming a trainee in Big Hit Entertainment. In fact, the BTS star was the top dance student at Busan High School of Art.

That said, Jimin is arguably one of the best dancers in the K-pop industry. But despite his undeniable talent, the “Filter” singer still believes that he can do better.

BTS’ “Black Swan” music video was uploaded on YouTube back in March, but BANGTANTV just recently posted a behind-the-scenes of Jimin’s solo. The MV circled around the BTS star, and his scenes were physically demanding.

The video showed how exhausted Jimin was every time he finished a scene. The 25-year-old singer, songwriter, and dancer even dropped on the floor and had a hard time getting up due to fatigue.

But being the perfectionist that he is, Jimin would ask the staff if he did well and check the monitor every after shoot. At one point, the director told the BTS star that he was satisfied with the footage, but Jimin, who was getting a massage for his muscle pain, said that he should do it again. The director then responded, “I knew you’d say that.”

After re-doing his scenes, Jimin’s body finally gave in, and he laid on the floor while saying, “I think I can fall asleep right here.” This just goes to show that the BTS star wants nothing but the best for ARMYs. He didn’t want to give fans something that he is not completely satisfied with.

Meanwhile, Jimin’s former female schoolmates previously shared how they felt about him when they were still students in Busan High School of Art. All of them pointed out that the BTS star had always stood out from the rest.

“The first time I saw Jimin was at our school’s assembly hall,” one of the women recalled. “He stood out among the dance major students.”

One of the women noted that Jimin was never shy to show off some skin and the other one revealed that the popular idol already had abs even when he was younger. One woman then said that Jimin's go-to move was taking his shirt off, which ARMYs have seen multiple times during the earlier years of BTS.

The women highly praised Jimin's talent but admitted that they didn’t expect him to be as popular as he is now. The BTS star success became an inspiration to the younger students in Busan High School of Art.
