Fox News learned that authorities arrested the 36-year-old celebrity in Los Angeles due to DUI. He faced two accounts of DUI charges in February after the discovery of his 0.36 percent blood-alcohol level.
The publication noted that the figure is "four times" above the legal limit. Nevertheless, he got out on $100,000 bail, according to the court documents Page Six had obtained.
The records state that Garrett Hedlund received 36-month probation and three-day community service as his sentence. The court, also, required the actor to fulfill a nine-month counseling program for alcohol and other drug abuse education.
On Wednesday, Hedlund's representative told the publications that he "immediately sought treatment." He is now in a "great place," alongside his pregnant partner, Emma Roberts. Reports added, however, that the celebrity needs to return to court on November 25 for a restitution hearing.
Despite their silence about the issue, a source told E! News that Hedlund and Roberts are "well." The actor's arrest in January was not, reportedly, a threat that would cause them to split.
The insider continued and discussed the Nancy Drew star's "commitment" to their relationship. Both celebrities are "conscious," adding that they know relationships "take work."

While Emma Roberts already broke her silence about her pregnancy, Garrett Hedlund has since maintained his. Reports noted, though, that this is mostly due to the fact that he has personal accounts on social media.
Hedlund and Roberts' relationship first became a subject of interest in March 2019. Bustle recalled that this was amid the reports about the actress's split with her then-fiancé, Evan Peters.
Almost a year later, unnamed sources claimed that the relationship is "more fun than serious." But, things seemingly changed amid the pandemic, especially after the confirmation of their first pregnancy.
