Suga’s shoulder had been troubling him for years, but he had always assured ARMYs that he’s fine. So when it was revealed that he recently underwent surgery on his shoulder, the fandom was shocked and worried about his health condition.

The BTS rapper took to Weverse on Nov. 6 to share with ARMYs that he had shoulder surgery, and he’s recovering from it. Although he admitted to still feeling pain after the surgical procedure, he pointed out that he’s very happy that he did it, and it was successful.

Despite Suga’s uplifting personal note, ARMYs still couldn’t stop worrying about him and wants to know more updates regarding his condition. So when Jimin went live on YouTube on Nov. 11, some fans asked him about how the “Daechwita” rapper is doing.

Jimin shared that Suga decided to get surgery before his condition got worse. The “Filter” singer also revealed the sweet reason why SG made the decision, and that is to be with ARMYs for a “very long time.” Meaning, the rapper wants to be as healthy as he could to spend more time with the fans.

To ease ARMYs worries, Jimin added that Suga had been sending them selfies to update them with his condition. The BTS singer then said that the 27-year-old rapper, songwriter, and record producer is “recovering really well.”

“I hope you’re not worrying too much… I hope you can wish for his speedy recovery with me,” Jimin said, adding that ARMYs don’t need to worry too much as Suga will be “back and healthy in no time.”

Suga damaged his shoulder during an accident while working as a delivery man in his trainee days. The BTS rapper struggled financially before his debut and had to work part-time jobs to pay for his tuition, food, and bus rides. There were even times that he had to choose between food or a bus ticket because his money can only afford one of the choices.

Now, Suga has a net worth of $20 million, according to Celebrity Net Worth. BTS is currently the biggest boy group on the planet, and they have reached superstardom status and have broken records after records.

Despite BTS’s very impressive net worth, RM, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook remained simple and humble. In fact, the boys usually forget how rich they are as they get easily amazed by the prizes set by Run BTS! staff for the variety show.
