Six years have already passed since George Clooney and Amal Clooney tied the knot. While the marriage remains to be strong, tabloids and magazines continue to spill rumors and allegations that the couple is heading toward a divorce.

Gossip Cop recently rounded up some of the false stories about the Clooney pair. Despite knowing the truth, the publication still reached out to reps and sources close to the celebrities.

Later in October, New Idea magazine claimed that the Batman actor was "getting by" with Jennifer Aniston's help. He, reportedly, became a "frequent guest" at the actress's home as his marriage fell apart.

The supposed insiders added that the Lebanese-British barrister was not a "fan" of the friendship. Amid the reported fall-out in her marriage, her husband's closeness to Aniston was a "middle finger" to her.

Gossip Cop immediately slammed the report and clarified that none of these things are true. A spokesperson for the Friends actress, also, confirmed to the publication that the story is fake.

A few days later, the same publication called out another headline, alleging that George Clooney and Amal Clooney was heading toward an "extremely costly divorce." Based on the assertions, the pair does not have a prenup, and that the divorce would cost him half of his fortune.

The unnamed insiders, also, added that Clooney has not had a hit movie in recent years. Hence, he would need to start on working projects that could provide enough income.

Gossip Cop countered the claims, noting that the Ocean's Eleven actor is an entrepreneur. But, apart from not needing to worry about his finances, he would not need it, all together, because he and Amal are not divorcing each other.

Amid all the allegations, though, George Clooney and Amal Clooney do not seemingly pay attention to these things. Nevertheless, the actor's recent interview with CBS Sunday Morning appears to have quashed all the divorce and split rumors plaguing him and his wife.

People reported that the 59-year-old celebrity talked about his upcoming project, The Midnight Sky, as well as his life with his wife and kids. He began by making jokes about the time when he learned Amal was having twins. He recalled his shock when the doctors told them about the second baby and deemed it as "unbelievable."

Later in the interview, George Clooney paid a heartfelt tribute to his wife, adding that Amal Clooney "changed everything" for him. He, also, opened up about their life amid the pandemic crisis. The actor quipped that he now has more "sympathy" for his mother because of all the chores he has to do while his two kids do nothing.
