Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis got their first taste of red carpet treatment on Friday, Dec. 11, when they joined their parents, Prince William and Kate Middleton, to watch a special performance of Pantoland at the Palladium.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and their kids were treated to a classic British pantomime show along with the families and kids of the National Health Service (NHS) staff. However, before the special numbers, Prince William went on stage for his speech while Kate, George, Charlotte, and Louis proudly watched from their box.

The Duke of Cambridge thanked the NHS workers and their families for the "remarkable sacrifices" in this pandemic. Prince William reiterated that the United Kingdom owes a "huge debt of gratitude" to the NHS workers.

According to witnesses, George, Charlotte and Louis were initially a little shy when they walked the red carpet. However, they looked relaxed and excited as they sat inside the theater, eager to see what was in store.

Prince Louis, 2, sat on Kate's lap and fixated on the large glitter ball hanging to the center of the London Palladium. Princess Charlotte, 5, was between her mother and Prince George. The two older Cambridge kids animatedly chatted with each other until their father joined them at the box. Princess Charlotte apparently did a facepalm when she saw Prince William.

During the red carpet walk, Prince William tried to hold his daughter's hand, but Charlotte brushed it off as she confidently made her way to the entrance. Prince George, 7, apparently kept checking out at the performers' elaborate costumes during the show.

The affair followed strict government guidelines. Since children below 10 years old are not required to wear face masks, the Cambridge royals didn't need the protective gears.

On the other hand, Kate and Prince William wore masks while inside the theater and when they spoke with the other guests. Outside, however, they didn't need to wear a face mask, as per the guidelines.

Prince George and Princess Charlotte are currently on their school break until the first week of January. It is understood that Prince Louis could also start nursery school once the term begins in early 2021.

Meanwhile, fans could not help but notice how much the third in line to the British throne is growing tall. He took after his parents as William is apparently 6'3", and it's 5'9" for Kate. Royal observers also noticed that Prince George quietly observed what was around him as he kept standing next to his father.
