The first arc of Chainsaw Man has now come to an end. As Tatsuki Fujimoto announced the coming of a second part, there will be a lot of intense turn of events that fans are about to see.

Apart from Denji, everyone died in the first part of the best manga of 2020, Chainsaw Man. However, one of the slaughtered characters is the terrifying Control Devil Makima, but as a devil, her resurrection gives the first part's ending a positive feeling.

The first arc's ending seems to give the manga a full reset. Death seems to be a norm in the world of Denji. Power also met his demise here, killed by Denji himself after Makima forced him to.

With her cruel ways, everyone was rooting for Makima's downfall. However, she tried another chance at redemption.

According to Comicbook, devils don't die in the series. If they get killed, they will only be reincarnated, alternating living in Hell and on Earth.

After her death, Makima is resurrected to be a young girl named Nayuta, who Denji has to raise and make sure she won't grow up like Makima. Hopefully, despite Nayuta's similarities to Makita, she will be a different person from her.

Meanwhile, Fujimoto announced more arcs are coming to Chainsaw Man. The manga is far from being finished, and the creator has a new story arc to explore.

After the Public Safety arc ends, the School arc is about to begin. CBR noted the trend of bringing back a dead character if they happen to be devils would continue in the second part of the manga.

The series is never afraid to kill off important characters, even if they are the fan-favorite ones. It rose to prominence for its "unpredictability."

Now that Chainsaw Man will feature Denji back to school, the same thing will surely happen. So, how things will turn out from here?

Denji admitted he had never been a student, let alone be in a school. So, everything will be new to him now that he is about to navigate a "conventional education" at 16 years old while trying to maintain his status as a growing hero.

It is also possible that Reze/Bomb Girl will return in the manga's second part, while the hunt for power or blood devil will continue. It remains to be seen when Chainsaw Man's second arc will be out, but it is said to have a new home. From Weekly Shonen Jump, fans will now see it on the Shonen Jump+ app.
