Is GOT7 disbanding after the members' exclusive contract with JYP Entertainment expires this month? Yugyeom is reportedly in talks to sign with Jay Park's AOMG label.

According to a report by Koreaboo, an exclusive report from SPOTV indicated that GOT7's Yugyeom was in contact with several agencies leading up to the expiration of his contract with JYP. He is reportedly leaning heavily toward signing a contract with the hip hop label AOMG for his next career move.

Yugyeom is the second member of GOT7 who has reportedly met with other agencies to explore career options. It can be recalled that Jinyoung was recently rumored to be in talks with BH Entertainment for the possibility of signing an exclusive contract with the agency, Soompi reported.

BH Entertainment manages superstars like Lee Byung Hun, Han Hyo Joo, Han Ji Min, and Ju Ji Hyun. The agency, which is well known for managing actors' careers, could help Jinyoung explore further growth as an actor. He has previously appeared in dramas like School of Magic, He is Psychometric, and When My Love Blooms.

A source from BH Entertainment did not deny that the agency met with Jinyoung on the possibility of signing him to the company. For their part, JYP Entertainment maintained that they were still in the process of meeting GOT7 members for the possibility of renewing their contracts.

GOT7 members previously stated that they would like to continue as GOT7 for a long time. However, fans have called out JYP Entertainment time and again for not giving the group the same exposure as other artists.

For their recent comeback Breath of Life: Last Piece, Aghases were outraged that the album stocks already ran out in major purchasing sites even before the pre-selling period was up. They slammed the label for failing to anticipate the volume of stocks based on the fans' demand.

On social media, fans accused the label of sabotaging their own artist and underestimating their selling power, All Kpop reported.

Fans also decried that the basic requirements for promoting a comeback, such as an album showcase, and an MV teaser for the title track, were also not delivered by JYP.

This was not the first time for GOT7 to experience mistreatment from the label. They complained that despite the strong demand for subtitles, even for the group's pre-recorded content, these were not provided by the agency. They said that JYP was not maximizing the group's full potential with its lackluster efforts to promote the talented members of GOT7.
