Prince Harry was heartbroken over his breakaway from the royal family after he and Meghan Markle decided to move to California in March 2020. A friend of the couple has revealed that the whole Megxit drama with the Sussexes was "incredibly painful" for everyone involved.

Bradby spoke about Harry, and Meghan's shocking decision to give up their royal life in the ITV program Love Your Weekend. However, the royal journalist believes that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are content about their new lifeand are quite excited about their new projects in the United States.

Harry's friend also thinks that the Sussex royals are happy with their decision even it wasn't ideal for the royal. Similarly, Bradby also thinks that Prince William doesn't find their situation easy and, like Harry, he also wrestles with his role as a royal and the future King of the United Kingdom.

Bradby said that the royals' work as public servants and well-known personalities adds to the pressure and tension of "trying to be a family." Their situation is a lot more complicated than people realize.

The journalist did a documentary interview with Harry and Meghan in 2019 that raised a lot of speculations, as well as answered the rumors that William and Harry have drifted apart. He admitted to Love Your Weekend host Alan Titchmarsh that he felt caught in the middle after the Sussexes implied that things are not okay with them with the royal family, as he was also friends with William and Kate.

Bradby said that the documentary also concerned William, whose aides thought that the journalist took advantage of the Duke of Cambridge's "vulnerable" brother, per Daily Mail. But a source inside the Palace doesn't believe that this was exactly how Harry felt as the Duke of Sussex would have talked about it with his family than with a journalist.

Meanwhile, royal commentator Victoria Ward belied reports that Harry has been sporting a new look in California. Ward was reacting to the comments made by the Sussex pair's neighbor, actor Rob Lowe, who told James Corden on his late-night show that he saw Harry in person for the first time, and it looks like he has grown a ponytail.

Lowe was likely humoring the viewers of Corden's program, who also said that he followed Harry as he drove his car towards his garage. The Sussex pair have bought a mansion in Montecito, which sources claim would be their permanent home.
