Parler, a controversial social media platform, again made its presence felt when it resurfaced Sunday with a clear message from its CEO as to the site's nature of being resilient.

Rumors of Parler resurfacing online sent media personnel scrambling Sunday to check whether such talks are accurate and true enough, reporters saw that the social media platform is live once more. Amazon terminated the hosting service for the social media platform after allegedly violating its terms and service agreement. Parler CEO, John Matze, also posted a message on the site telling users and the rest of the community about the resilience of Parler and that it will be ready soon.

"Now seems like the right time to remind you all both lovers and haters why we started this platform. We believe privacy is paramount and free speech essential, especially on social media. Welcome all of you back soon," stated Parler CEO John Matze in a message posted on the resurrected website. The social media platform reappeared online on Sunday.

Not Fully Functional Yet

While a banner above it reads that the social media site is still experiencing "technical difficulties," many believe it is only a matter of time until the site is back to normal. With Parler reappearing online in an apparent display of resilience along with a clear message from its CEO that it intends to stay, users who went to look for other platforms are sure to come back to Parler.

The social media platform became controversial after it played host to hundreds of incendiary posts that allegedly promote violence. Big tech companies like Amazon terminated its hosting contract with the social media platform. At the time, it appears that Parler was all but wiped off online. Apparently, that is not the case as just when others thought Parler is dead, it suddenly reappeared online with an update message from the social media platform's CEO on Sunday, showing everyone how resilient the site is.

A Permanent Virtual Home

According to Donie O'Sullivan, a CNN news reporter who first noted the presence of the site and its CEO's message, Parler found a new host that once again allowed it to reappear online on Sunday. Amazon's action of dropping Parler from its hosting servers forced the social media company to look for an alternative and by the looks of it, Parler already found one.

Aside from reappearing online and making its presence felt Sunday, Parler also had a message from its CEO as regards its resilience as a site. The combined reappearance and the CEO's message showcased Parler's resilience as a platform where, the company claims, anyone can express whatever views or opinions they have. Parler's current hosting service, Epik, is the same company that also hosts 8chan and Gab.
