A 41-year old man in Virginia literally fell into trouble.

Police arrested an alleged peeping Tom after the man crashed through the ceiling of a women's locker room at a gym in the city of Stafford a few hours south of Washington, D.C.

The man identified as Brian Anthony Joe had fallen through the ceiling and landed on one of the women below. He was then cornered by some of the ladies and patrons of the gym until the police arrived.

Deputies from the Stafford County Sheriff's Office arrived at Onelife Fitness around 1:16 p.m. Saturday after receiving a call that a man had fallen through the ceiling.

Joe did not suffer any injuries from the 10-feet plunge, police said. The lady that he landed on to was checked for injuries by rescue personnel at the scene.

Authorities has since charged Joe with burglary, three counts of spying into a building and vandalism. He is being held in custody without bail at the Rappahannock regional detention facility.

It is unclear how long Joe had been engaged in such alleged act of spying or if he had been doing the act before the incident happened.

"He is being held without bond at the Rappahannock Regional Jail. This is still an ongoing investigation" authorities said in the statement released early Sunday, as reported by ABC News.

It was not the first time a "Peeping Tom" has spied on women at the locker room of the gym. In 2019, a naked man peeped on a girl who was taking a shower at a recreation center in Sterling, Virginia.

Another "Peeping Tom" targeted women in College Park, Maryland in the same year. Prince George's County Police arrested Eric Tata, 24, who they said barged into a girl's apartment and hid in her closet wearing a towel.
