Fans are about to see the aftermath of Oden's death in One Piece Episode 975. Although he manages to save the Scabbard from dying with him, what will happen to them from here?
It will not be easy for the Scabbards to escape Wano in One Piece Episode 975. So, there are theories Lady Toki will come to their rescue and fulfill the Wano prophecy that will finally come true after 20 years.
Titled "The Burning Castle! The Fate of the Kozuki Clan!" the preview shows the Kuri castle burning, leaving the Scabbards with nowhere to go. It then shows a flashback where Oden gives Toki mysterious letters from prison.
Back to the present timeline, Toki tears the letter Oden gives her after knowing what he wants her to do. In the new episode's synopsis, via BlockToro, Oden asks his vassals, Kinemon and other Scabbards, to open Wano Kuni's borders on his behalf when he learns his death is about to come.
Elsewhere, upon learning Oden's fate, Toki opens the letters he gives her in One Piece Episode 975. What does it contain? It tells his last wish, entrusting Toki about the future 20 years from now.
In One Piece Episode 974, Oden carried all the Akazaya members on his shoulder as the execution continued. The citizens of Wano continuously called Oden silly lord and Toki would have enough of it, OtakuKart News noted.
She would not stop herself from revealing the real plan of Kaido and Orochi to their place that put a shock in their every face. They now realized that Oden was a great samurai, but it was too late for them to save him.
Oden endured the boiling lava inside the pot while Kaido and Orochi celebrated their victories. They found joy seeing the mighty force of Oden inside the pot.
However, Fukurokuju noticed what Toki was doing, so he teleported and told her to "stop misleading the citizens." He then explained the people needed to believe that Oden was a silly lord who rebelled against the Shogun required to die.
What happens from here can be seen when One Piece Episode 975 drops on Sunday, May 23, at 9:30 a.m. local Japanese time. The U.S. audience, on the other hand, will see it at 10 p.m. Eastern Time.
