Prince Charles is reportedly annoyed that BBC is still airing clips of Princess Diana's interview with Martin Bashir from 1995 and there's a feeling among the people around the Prince of Wales that the broadcaster should never air any footage of the Panorama interview anymore.

A source told Mail on Sunday that even as Prince Charles has yet to issue his own statement, amid the release of the results of the independent investigations of BBC, Bashir and Panorama, Charles has been telling friends that he doesn't want the interview to run again.

Accusations that Diana's chat with Bashir was arranged and secured by deceiving her prompted the investigation in October 2020, led by Lord John Dyson. His investigations showed a BBC cover-up of Bashir's questionable ways to get Diana to talk in front of the camera about her troubled marriage to the future king.

It was this interview where Diana admitted to Bashir that the future king was unfaithful in their marriage. This interview also triggered Queen Elizabeth to order her son and his first wife to get a divorce, changing the course of Diana's life and contributing to her sadness before she died in a tragic accident.

Since the Dyson report's release, BBC has issued an apology to the royal family. Bashir has also issued his regrets to Diana's sons, Prince William and Prince Harry. The source also said that Charles "fully supports" the statement of William blasting BBC for the cover-up. William also told Queen Elizabeth of the contents of his public statement.

Meanwhile, Charles has another matter to sort out with Harry, whose latest documentary, The Me You Can't See, has once again taken aim at his father's parenting. Harry said on this show that his family, especially his dad, did not allow him to talk about his mother and her death, even as he was struggling to come to terms with the loss.

Harry claimed that Charles used to tell him and William it was how he was brought up as a royal but the Duke of Sussex felt it didn't make sense. He said that Charles should not have let his sons suffer if he had a difficult childhood.

According to reports, Prince Charles has been deeply hurt and frustrated about Harry's latest revelations, where he's the villain. Sources close to the Prince of Wales said that he's at a loss on what to do with Harry and the relationship between father and son has cracked further.
