The current arc, Granolah the Survivor, of Dragon Ball Super lives up to its title. It tells more about Granolah and Vegeta seems to have learned something important about him.
However, as Granolah seems different from all the antagonists the franchise has, is he a villain or not? Will a different big bad come in Dragon Ball Super?
The Heeters have been pitting Granolah against the Saiyans, Goku and Vegeta. According to Comicbook, the most likely villain that the series will have is Gas.
So far, there is a big mystery surrounding the character of Gas. He is part of The Heeters family, who leads the Heeter Force and serves the intel group in the galactic underworld that partners with the Freeza Force.
In the current arc, they serve as the middlemen who manipulate Granolah into thinking that Goku and Vegeta are the enemies. He wants to avenge his Planet Cereal against Frieza and will see the Saiyans as his enemies.
Though Gas is the smallest, he is the most powerful among the family. Will he use this power against Granolah in Dragon Ball Super?
Gas is much powerful than Granolah is and even stronger than Freeza. In the previous chapter, Gas arrives at Planet Cereal with The Heeters leader, Elec.
Their talk seems to hint at Gas' bad history and memories at Planet Cereal. He also has an apparent chip on his shoulder when it comes to Granolah. He has even faced him to put his new powers to the test.
These hints only show that Gas has a bigger role to play in this arc. So far, Granolah wants to put Goku and Vegeta down, but things may chance and they may put their differences aside to face the real enemy.
If this happens, The Heeters must have Plan B amd Elec may put Gas in the forefront to face these three, revealing the real villain in him.
Meanwhile, Vegeta seems to know who Granolah really is, CBR noted. As Goku faces Granolah, he takes advantage of his free time to investigate Planet Cereal.
Here, he saw a footprint of a Saiyan in its Great Ape form, which seems to confirm what he thinks of Granolah. Though he is yet to reveal what it is, he may make a huge revelation when Dragon Ball Super Chapter 73 drops on June 20, per IBTimes.
Does Vegeta now know what happened to Planet Cereal? Will he reveal to Granolah that they are on the same side when it comes to hating Freeza? Find out when Dragon Ball Super continues.
