Adele is maybe one of the wealthiest singers in the world, but she still loves bargains and discounts. She was recently seen at the Cabazon Outlets with a guy she said she is not dating, Skepta.
Fans were surprised to see Adele at the discount mall near the outside of San Bernardino, California. She was shopping at the discount Prada store in the area and she got an unlikely company.
According to Page Six's spy, the "Rolling in the Deep" singer was helping a British guy with a matching description of the rapper to choose clothes. This man had the same tattoos as Skepta.
"She was sitting watching him while he was picking sweaters, pants, trying on jackets and coats and having the employees help him,'' the source said. "She was giving him feedback and saying what she thought he looked great in."
The two looked cute as they were both waiting for each other and Adele was acting like a normal girlfriend who was choosing what would fit her man. While waiting for the alleged Skepta to shop for 45 minutes, the insider added she played with a customer's puppy.
The tipster also said Adele and Skepta might be spending some time in the nearby Palm Springs to celebrate the Fourth of July weekend.
If these two are indeed together, it strongly opposes Adele's claims about being a single lady. After her stint as a "Saturday Night Live" host, she posted a message on Instagram - saying she would go back to her cave and be the "single cat lady" that she is.
Despite the denial, a source, who was allegedly close to Adele, told People that things were heating up between the singer-songwriter and Skepta. "They run in the same circles in London, and she's having fun," the insider added.
Adele and Skepta have been friends for years and have already formed a deep connection over music. They also share the same neighborhood in Tottenham, London and parents to young children.
Adele has an 8-year-old son with former husband Simon Konecki, while Skepta has a 3-year-old daughter from a previous relationship.
Skepta earlier said he and Adele are very much good friends. Adele would often text him and keep him in check - talking about how things are going on.
Ever since Adele filed for divorce from Konecki in September 2019, a source said she has now become "more social and opened up quite a bit."
