"Black Clover" anime might have come to an end, but Asta's voice actor, Gakuto Fujiwara, finally opened up about the series' final episode. As the franchise continues with the manga and a possible new movie, what will be the future of the much-loved protagonist, Asta?
During the series' panel at Virtual Crunchyroll Expo 2021, Fujiwara took a trip down memory lane when he did the final episode of "Black Clover." The 26-year-old star had the chance to watch the final episode at home-real-time-remembering how he recorded it as it aired, Comicbook noted.
Fujiwara wondered how he managed to put things together as he saw the flashback of Asta's enemies and everyone he had fought against and made friends with. He felt his personal journey could be compared to that of Asta's.
The anime series featured 170 episodes and Fujiwara's career started and grew from this show. So, he believed his feelings were connected to the franchise more than anyone else behind the scene.
Fujiwara spent a lot of time playing the role of Asta. So, he could not help but get teary-eyed as he watched the "Black Clover" final episode. For fans who still miss the series, Yuki Tabata's brainchild continues in the manga.
The manga is now on its Chapter 303 and the previous one ended with a major cliffhanger. According to The News Pocket, Noelle's older brother, Nozel Silva, arrived to save the day, boosting their chance to finally defeat Megicula.
Nozel now joins the fight to bring down the undefeated devil. Megicula may have possessed an incomplete form, but she still manages to survive.
Noelle may be out in the picture in "Black Clover" Chapter 303 fight, but she had already proven herself time and over again in her previous battles against Megicula and the corpses.
Now, it is time for Nozel to take the spotlight and do his best to stop Megicula from threatening everyone. So, can he keep up the fight?
Megicula is a no-easy match. She is a formidable foe and no one can underestimate her. She has fought a number of enemies, all the same time, but she manages to survive.
Fans expect Noelle to finally beat her in Episode 302 with her last Saint Stage, but it did not happen. Thankfully, his brother arrived and he might possess a stronger power that could put Megicula down.
Anyhow, Megicula might once again prove her ability as a supreme devil with her incredible body language. As a villain who never gets fazed with anything that will come her way, she will surely give Nozel a hard time, just like what he did to others.
