The other week, it was Lionel Messi's used tissue.

Now, it's Michael Jordan's used undies.

A pair of Michael Jordan's "heavily used" boxer shorts are up for auction.

The underwear is being put on sale by Lelands, which notes the item shows "definite use," with some loose threads at the seams.

NBA legend Michael Jordan is one of the greatest sports figures in the planet. The six-time NBA champion is a brand in itself.

MJ's long-standing partnership with Nike has earned him a fortune. The Chicago Bulls legend gets 5% royalty on each Air Jordan merchandise that is sold across the world.

The Air Jordan brand is a major part of the globe's sneaker culture.

Jordan has earned $7 million from shirt sales since Messi joined PSG.

His Airness' net worth is valued at a whopping $1.6 billion.

So, how did Lelands get their hands on MJ's undies?

The Michael Jordan wardrobe is from the personal collection of Jordan's long-time personal bodyguard and close friend, John Michael Wozniak, a representative from the auction house said.

It's unclear why Wozniak -- who appeared in "The Last Dance" documentary series -- held onto his boss' used grey and black skivvies.

"About as close to greatness as one can get, the underwear is just one of the many items that were given to Wozniak from MJ himself including ties, suits, jackets, and belts," the auction description reads, according to The Score.

As of Wednesday morning, the highest bid was $605, with 24 days remaining in the auction.

Meanwhile, a lot of people had questions with regards the hygiene part of the boxers.

However, gladly, the underwears come with a dry-cleaning tag inside them. That certainly would provide some sense of "cleanliness" to prospective bidders.

Other interesting stuff in auction, according to the representative, include the so-called "Holy Grail" of Tom Brady football card collections and the most iconic and "desirable" (Stephen) Curry card.

Even though his professional playing career ended nearly two decades ago, Michael Jordan still has a strong influence in the society.

You know the saying: one man's trash is another man's treasure.

Used MJ undies, anyone?
