Mike Pence, former vice president of the United States, is preparing early for a possible presidential run in 2024.

For the past few days, Pence has been busy traveling in various parts of the country and launching new ventures, which is seen by many as an early preparation for his big 2024 plan.

Pence has visited Nebraska to grace the annual "steak fry" hosted by Republican Governor Pete Ricketts. The former VP has also launched his own podcast called "American Freedom."

He is also hands-on in managing his nonprofit group, the Advancing American Freedom, to extend help and support for American citizens.

And recently, Pence has attended and spoken at a memorial service for Marine Corporal Humberto Sanchez.

The Marine Corporal is from Indiana, where Pence served as governor when Donald Trump selected him as a running mate.

Sanchez is now considered a hero. He and his fellow service members were killed last month in Afghanistan from a terrorist attack in an airport in Kabul.

The attack was aimed at the U.S. military forces who are helping American and Afghan citizens flee the country and the Taliban takeover.

"Karen [Pence's wife] and I understand the immense pride that you feel, but we cannot comprehend the sense of loss of one so dear to your family and to the nation. But our family wanted to be here with your family to express our thanks," Pence said.

He has also met with the family of Marine Corporal Daegan Page, who was also killed in the same airport attack that the terror group ISIS claimed responsibility on.

Pence and Trump clearly had a close relationship since they ran and won as Vice President and President, respectively.

But they had a falling out when Pence didn't attempt to overturn the 2020 election which brought Joe Biden to the presidency. On top of that, Pence presided over the joint session of Congress that certified Biden's Electoral College win.

Trump was obviously infuriated at what Pence did, but the former vice president remains unapologetic, believing that what he did was right.

Pence is already making a lot of preparations as early as now for his possible presidential bid, but his efforts are expected to increase and accelerate next year as the next election nears.
