The anime adaptation of Eiichiro Oda's masterpiece, One Piece, is about to reach a major milestone with the coming of One Piece Episode 1000. As everyone is now preparing for this momentous occasion, the franchise has officially announced when it will drop.

All eyes are now on One Piece Episode 1000 as it will continue the war in Wano, between Kaido and Luffy. But before the main fight begins, Kaido has to face his child first, Yamato.

The anime series has been building the hype for its 1000th episode. Now, one of its Twitter handles, OROJAPAN, drops when it will finally out and come sooner than expected.

"Episode 1,000 will officially air on Sunday, November 21, 2021," the tweet reads. Comicbook noted the said release date was quite expected given the show's breaks.

However, there are no words yet on what will officially happen in the 1000th episode. But as of late, the anime has featured more of Yamato and Kaido after the former's introduction.

There are theories Yamato may be a big threat to Luffy. But, it looks like it is the opposite of what occurs.

A big twist was revealed when Yamato wanted to join the rebellion instead, knowing Yamato idolizes Oden so much. This idolatry even pushes Yamato to go against her father, taking the enemies' side.

So, in "One Piece" Episode 1000, the fight between the father and child may ensue. It may also feature the other events in the series, like scenes that involve Robin, Sanji and other Straw Hat Pirates' members.

Meanwhile, aside from the release date, the tweet also comes with a key visual that teases the war in Onigashima. Here, Luffy can be seen leading his group into the fight against Kaido and his subordinates.

Game Rant revealed the image was partially drawn by the anime's new character designer, Midori Matsuda. He replaced Toshinori Fukusawa after he quit the series before the Wano Country arc began.

Matsuda got the help of the anime's Chief Animation Supervisor, Keiichi Ichikawa, who covered the image of the Beast Pirates. By the looks of it, the staff has been stepping up its efforts to give fans the best possible experience in the anime's continuation.

As One Piece Episode 1000 is just a month away, Toei Animation is, reportedly, eyeing to give fans the best viewing experience that it can. This episode may cover the Onigashima Raid after the Akazaya Nine drew first blood on Kaido.
