She, then, explained the fake designer items that became a huge controversy today. Free Zia said the comments made about her clothing on social media and the dating reality series were "true."

"I'm really sorry," she wrote. She also apologized for any situation that caused the infringement of the "designers' creations and ignorance of copyright."
As Free Zia revealed she aspired to launch a brand of her own someday, she promised to "recognize the controversy and reflect deeply." She also swore to be more careful the next time and it would not happen again.

The social media influencer had also deleted all the contents that featured the fake items and apologized to the brands that had been dragged into the issue. She also said sorry to her fans, subscribers and brand representatives who had been affected by the controversy.

Furthermore, Free Zia promised to live more responsibly in the future. "Thank you for reading this long note," she concluded her statement.

As expected, netizens could not help but give comments on Free Zia's note, AllKpop noted. Many expressed their disappointment and criticized the rising star for shaming South Korea knowing "Single's Inferno" had been continuously gaining the international fans' interest.

Some netizens said she wanted to be luxurious but did not have enough money to do so. Others accused her of wanting to have an image of the "young and rich."

In addition, a fan questioned Free Zia's move, given her show would be seen worldwide on Netflix. With that being said, many saw this controversy as an "international shame."

Aside from the controversial Chanel blouse, it was also raised that Free Zia donned fake necklaces and other luxury goods, per KStarTrend. It also included counterfeit T-shirts and dresses.
