One body language expert analyzed Prince William and Kate Middleton's handshake and revealed who among the two has asserted more power. By the looks of it, the Duchess of Cambridge displays more authority than her husband with the way she introduces and carries herself.

Jesús Enrique Rosas, also known as the Body Language Guy on YouTube, revealed he noticed a "very interesting difference" in how Prince William and Kate Middleton do handshakes. But aside from the hand movements, the YouTuber added the look in their eyes when they shake others' hands also plays a major role here.

There is said to be a slight difference in the way the royal couple approaches other people. The specialist claimed the Duke of Cambridge looks at the hand of the person he is about to greet, while his wife just gazes at it for a moment.

She even sometimes does the handshake without looking at that someone's hand so that she can maintain eye contact. "This version is more powerful and in some scenarios intimidating," he said, via Express.

However, Rosas cleared Kate Middleton is never intimidating because of her genuine and warm smile. But it doesn't deny that her handshake is "one of power."

Alternatively, he finds Prince William wants to give the people he greets a feeling of respect that's why he lowers his gaze at their hands. It also has to be considered that he is quite tall, standing at 1.91 m, so it may also be his way not to look intimidating.

Aside from their gazes, another characteristic between the Cambridges' handshakes is their head nod. Rosas added not everyone nods when doing handshakes, so it may be a personal preference for the two and it is a nice addition to the way they greet people.

Meanwhile, Queen Elizabeth II, reportedly, gives Kate Middleton and Prince William a new mission before her Platinum Jubilee. The future king and queen are said to launch a "charm offensive" in the Caribbean, per Geo News.

This move will be part of a new royal tour that will focus on ecological issues to mark the 70th year of Her Majesty's reign. Known as the favorite royals, they will head to Belize, where the Queen is the head of state.

The travel will center on tackling ecological issues and their representatives are, allegedly, already in Belize as part of an "advance party." The report claimed they are already preparing for Kate Middleton and Prince William's royal tour in spring, a four-day visit that will happen in March.
