Netflix's "All of Us Are Dead" mostly features new faces, who are now gaining worldwide attention. One of them is Yoon Chan Young, who plays the role of Cheong San, and though he is not relatively new at all, he has been dreaming of being a part of a show featuring high-school students.

Though Yoon Chan Young is no longer in high school and now 22 years old, his baby face makes him look younger than he really is. With that being said, he has perfectly played his role in "All of Us Are Dead," and he even dreams of being part of Mnet's "High School Rapper" back then.

In an unearthed 2018 interview of Sports Dong-A, via AllKpop, the young actor revealed he often sang and rapped with his friends. He liked rapping so much that he thought of joining "High School Rapper."

Though he never wrote a song professionally, he just wanted to make an appearance in the reality series. Sadly, the "Mothers" star wasn't given a chance after his company stopped him.

Anyhow, upon watching "High School Rapper 2" and seeing everyone was good, he knew it would take him a little to take on the challenge. "I need practice," he said.

Yoon Chan Young is one of the youngest cast members of "All of Us Are Dead," per Den of Geek. But before he joined this hit Netflix series, he had already made a name for himself as an actor.

He started as a child actor in 2013. Now in his 20s, he already has an extensive filmography, including "Everything and Nothing" and "Pluto Squad," among others. He is also set to appear in the upcoming high school noir romance "Juvenile Delinquency."

Meanwhile, talking about auditioning for the epic zombie series, Yoo Chan Young revealed director Lee Jae Kyoo sent him a very poetic message, Soompi revealed. Before they started the project, the filmmaker wrote a note that read, "Don't get wet from the rain. Carpe Diem," and the aspirant made it his phone background.

He also talked about the show's unique charm, revealing it made him think of his high-school life. He even asked himself how he would survive a real zombie apocalypse if it happened in his school back then.

So, he believed "All of Us Are Dead" is a drama that "captures" that kind of situation. Meanwhile, now that series is being watched worldwide, Yoo Chan Young is dreaming of getting the attention of the soccer player Son Heung Min after Dele Alli uploaded a scene from "Squid Game" with Lee Yoo Mi on social media that made him jealous.
