MOMOLAND remains active in the music scene, but some members have already left the group. After the news about Daisy's departure surprises many, a new update about Daisy herself, Yeonwoo and Taeha now emerged.
The three left the band in 2019 and 2020. So, what happened to these former MOMOLAND members today?
A netizen shared an online community forum, via AllKpop, to talk about the current lives of Daisy, Yeonwoo and Taeha. Yeonwoo is still active in the business as an actress.
She has been doing a number of K-dramas as of late and the latest is the TV series "Dali and the Cocky Prince." Alternatively, Taeha still sings and covers songs as she keeps in touch with her fans through her YouTube and Instagram accounts.
It also revealed Daisy is now a student after formally enrolling in a university. But she remains to update her fans by uploading dance videos on Instagram.
However, NME noted Daisy admitted she hadn't spoken to her former MOMOLAND groupmates since 2019. In a Q&A on Instagram Stories, she answered the questions about her whereabouts following her group exit in 2020.
"We haven't spoken since 2019," she said. She even stressed that it would be the last time she would answer questions about her former group.
She also addressed some queries about her former management agency, MLD Entertainment. For starters, Daisy terminated her contract with the company after filing a lawsuit against it for withholding 66 million won from her earnings to fund the production cost of "Finding MOMOLAND."
Fortunately, Daisy won the case, per Soompi. However, she revealed the agency had filed a petition of appeal back then, though she had no idea what happened after that.
In addition, she also admitted she was puzzled when MLD didn't publicly address the reason for her departure from the group. She said it was "unfair and confusing" for her and her fans.
She found no official closure for her fans, who were still waiting for her return. So, she apologized to everyone for not knowing what really happened.
Meanwhile, for the remaining active MOMOLAND members, the South Korean girl group would begin a promotional tour in Mexico for its new digital single, Korea Herald reported. MLD announced it was a move to advance to the broader Central and South American market
The remaining six members, Ahin, Hyebin, Jane, JooE, Nancy and Nayun, embarked on their second trip to the region after their first one in 2019. They would appear on the country's music-theme pay-TV channel Telehit and as a special guest in the final round of "Todos a Bailar," a dance competition show on the broadcast network Azteca UNO to perform their all-English song "Yummy Yummy Love."
