Min Hyo Rin gave a rare glimpse of herself on Instagram on Wednesday, Feb. 16. Though the snap wasn't something new, fans celebrated seeing her when she was pregnant with her and BIGBANG's Taeyang's first child.
Min Hyo Rin revealed the snap was taken "last summer," which meant she was still pregnant back then. For starters, she and her husband Taeyang welcomed their first child in December 2021, per AllKpop.
In the picture, the incredible beauty of the 36-year-old actress was evident. Her porcelain and flawless skin was a real scene-stealer.
She donned a cute, pink furry cherry shirt. Unfortunately, she didn't give a glimpse of her baby bump.
As expected, many plagued her comment box with praise, saying how beautiful she is. Some even asked her to post more pictures of her often, knowing she's not fond of updating her SNS.
Meanwhile, Taeyang's agency, YG Entertainment, confirmed the birth of his child with Min Hyo Rin in December. "It's true that Taeyang and Min Hyo-rin welcomed the birth of their baby boy," the label said, per Rappler.
However, it didn't further give any details about the child, like his name or exact birthdate. The couple tied the knot in February 2018 and Taeyang is the first BIGBANG member to become a dad.
The two first met in 2014 on the set of Taeyang's "1AM" music video. From there, a romance brewed and they made their relationship public in 2015.
After a couple of years, Min Hyo Rin and Taeyang decided to tie the knot. Come September 2021; they revealed they were pregnant.
But before they confirmed their romance, Taeyang, reportedly, bought a Hannam Riverhill apartment in 2014, a sign that he was ready to settle down. This place is known for being one of the most exclusive properties in South Korea.
However, rumors had it he put it on the market in 2020 and he and Min Hyo Rin purchased a new one in Janghak Paarc Hannam in the same year. It's known as the Beverly Hills of Seoul and it costs a whopping $13.2 million, SCMP cited.
They're even neighbors with some of the most famous K-pop idols, like BTS's RM, IU and Miss A's Bae Suzy. It's a well-known K-pop Town with the number of celebrities who live there.
As a new trend in the celebrity world, Taeyang and Min Hyo Rin, reportedly, co-own the house. Many celebrity couples are now sharing ownership with their partners.
