"Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero" will put the spotlight on the other "Dragon Ball" characters, Gohan and Piccolo. The Red Ribbon Army is now gearing up for their return and the latest images released gives a glimpse of Piccolo's new form and the Legendary Super Saiyan Broly.

Fans finally have an idea of when "Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero" takes place after showing the teenage versions of Goten and Trunks. The film happens in the future while trying to bring back a legendary character who usher in Gogeta.

In "Dragon Ball Super: Broly," fans saw Goku and Brolly coming to a truce. After being thrown from Planet Vegeta, the Legendary Super Saiyan was then brought to his home planet.

Comicbook noted that though the former villain may not be "the focal point," fans are left wondering what role he is going to play after being seen training with Goku and Vegeta on the planet of Beerus and Whis.

Meanwhile, Twitter user DBS Hype drops the new "Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero." It reveals Gohan and Piccolo facing the new Red Ribbon Army androids in Gamma 1 and Gamma 2, built by the evil doctor, Dr. Hedo.

The official description of the movie, translated by Todd Blankenship, via Coming Soon, revealed the Red Ribbon Army organization's will had lived on despite being destroyed by Goku.

Now that they have been revived, the R.R. created the new androids Gamma 1 and Gamma 2 and started their revenge. Piccolo will soon notice a disturbing activity and sneak into the Red Ribbon base to see what is happening.

There, he will discover the unthinkable "ultimate evil weapon." Pan is then kidnapped to lure Gohan to the base.

From there, a super battle is about to begin as he joins the fight. "Where does all this death-match lead?! And what fate lies in store for Earth?!" the movie's synopsis concluded.

"Dragon Ball Super: Super Broly" is originally set to be out on April 22 in Japan. It also has an international release planned for summer 2022, but the film has been delayed due to the Toei Animation hacking incident.

This affects not just the movie but its other releases as well, like "One Piece," "Digimon" and "Dragon Quest," to name a few. Anyhow, the studio has already released a new release date and it will be on June 11 in Japan. On the other hand, international fans still have to wait for the announcement of the "Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero" release abroad.
