tvN postpones the release of Seo Ye Ji's comeback project, "Eve," for a week, five days before it officially drops. The drama's producers also reveal the cancellation of the show's press conference due to scheduling conflicts.

People behind the show clear the speculations that the release and press briefing's cancellations have nothing to do with the past issue that surrounded Seo Ye Ji. Anyhow, in less than a week, fans will finally see the premiere of "Eve."

The show was originally slated to be out on Wednesday, May 25. However, it was moved to June 1 instead.

They explained, via Soompi, that though the series was a pre-produced drama, filming was delayed several times due to different factors, like COVID-19.

With that said, the filming is yet to be completed. Add to that their tight schedules for different things, such as the post-production processes, they decided to postpone their first broadcast by a week.

The tight filming schedule also affected their scheduled press conference for "Eve," which was also postponed. So, Seo Ye Ji's past gaslighting controversy was unrelated to this move.

"Due to our filming schedule, it has become impossible for us to hold a press conference," they said. Rumors have it the actress feels the pressure of her return to the small screen, but that it is not true.

The show is a romance-revenge drama about a chaebol's 2 trillion won or about $1.7 billion divorce lawsuit that surprises the entire nation. However, little did everyone know that it was a result of a carefully calculated revenge plan that was 13 years in the making.

The series will mark Seo Ye Ji's return to the spotlight, along with Lee Sang Yeob, Park Byung Eun and Yoo Sun.

Ahead of the new K-drama's premiere, tvN drops four unique character posters featuring its main cast, per AllKpop. Fans see Park Byung Eun in character as Kang Yun Gyeom, holding a blue rose.

He is a man who is not afraid to throw everything away in the name of love. It also shows Yoo Sun as Han So Ra, a woman who has everything but holds a broken, black rose stem.

Lastly, the images also feature Lee Sang Yap as Seo Eun Pyung as he holds his white rose. He is a man who will also do everything to protect the woman he loves.

"Eve" will officially drop on June 1 at 10:30 p.m. KST. It can also be seen on Viki with subtitles.
