Fans will see the continuation of Uta's story in "One Piece" Episode 1030. The upcoming episode will still be a tie-in to "One Piece Film: Red" to show fans the past of Uta and Luffy.
"One Piece" Episode 1030 will feature Uta and Luffy's adventures as kids. It will mostly focus on the competition between the two after being friends.
SportsKeeda noted that the new episode would reveal the promises the two made to each other to create a better future. However, not everything would be fun and games.
Shanks will have a not-so-good conversation with Luffy, leaving the latter crying. Though no one knows what these two will talk about, it will surely be unpleasant.
This will be the last tie-in episode of "One Piece Film: Red," so it will officially end Uta's story. Sadly, fans still have to wait a little longer before the Land of Wano arc continues.
After "One Piece" Episode 1030, the next episode will be a recap. As the preview already teases what's to come, everything looks good so far.
Meanwhile, in "One Piece" Episode 1029, the Straw Hats sailed on the Thousand Sunny, per Coming Soon. Uta's song then played and Jinbei asked about it.
Usopp revealed it was a famous track worldwide and some Straw Hat members gave their comments about it-except Luffy. He remained mum, while Uta was waiting for her show to start somewhere.
A flashback of Luffy's childhood began. He bumped into the mayor, resulting in the latter knocking down the fruit stall.
The mayor scolded Luffy and told him to help in the village. The fruit vendor then gave Luffy some fruits.
A gorilla then tried to grab some of the fruits that Luffy had. Luffy told the gorilla he would give him a sack of fruits if he won over him.
The gorilla lost, but Luffy still gave him the fruit anyway. A stronger animal then chased Luffy and he ran away.
He fell into the river and Garp pulled him out. After what happened, Garp told Luffy he couldn't be a strong navy soldier.
Luffy told Garp he didn't wish to be a navy soldier. He wanted to live a free life instead. Elsewhere, Shanks gave Uta the treasure they got.
The Red Hair Pirates' ship then arrived at Foosha Village. Luffy saw the vessel docked and quickly went there.
Luffy told Shanks he wanted to be a pirate and join his crew. The two played a game when Uta arrived.
She told Luffy not to get too close to Shanks, but the latter told her they should get along. From there, Uta and Luffy started a friendly competition. "One Piece" Episode 1030 will be out on Sunday, August 21.
