King Charles III will reportedly not sideline Prince Harry and Prince Andrew as Counsellors of State but may add Kate Middleton to the list. Though there will be no reshuffle, the monarch may make major changes.

These changes reportedly involve giving Kate Middleton a new set of major responsibilities in the monarchy. She's said the Princess of Wales is said to be the "unprecedented vital royal" who will see assist King Charles through official businesses.

Express reported that His Majesty would add more state counselors, giving them the authority to help him perform his duties when he's out of the country or feeling unwell. He used to hold this position with Prince William, Prince Andrew, and Prince Harry under the late Queen Elizabeth, considering they were the four royals next in line to the throne over 18.

Now that he has become the king, there are theories that he may remove the Dukes of Sussex and York from the position, knowing they're no longer working royal family members. However, royal sources claimed that he had no plans to do it.

Instead, he might add three new members, and the insiders believed it could be Princess Anne, Prince Edward, and Kate Middleton. Dr. Craig Prescott, Bangor University's constitutional expert, told the Daily Mirror that this move just made perfect sense as there were not enough working royals to act as Counsellors of State.

As this was seen as a problem, adding more members would be the answer. "In that, the legislation could specifically make Prince Edward and Princess Anne Counsellors of State, adding to those who are already there," he explained.

Though including Kate Middleton on the list was seen as unprecedented, it still fit. Prescott added that two counselors needed to act together, and the Princess of Wales and her husband, Prince William, could do that. He believed it would easily pass through the Parliament if it happened.

Meanwhile, Prince William and Kate Middleton are believed to have up their royal game since Prince Harry and Meghan Markle stepped down as senior royals, resulting in having a hectic schedule. However, it looks like they will be busier as they take on more royal duties in the coming weeks.

A royal source revealed the Duke and Duchess of Cornwall would be making more public appearances soon, and the number of engagements they had to do looked "pretty brutal." That said, royal commentator Jennie Bond told OK! that having a work-life balance might be difficult for them, and things would not go easier with their new responsibilities.
