Another fight will break out in "Boruto" Episode 279, reportedly titled "The Obstacle: Seven." This time, Boruto will be facing Kiseru Gankubi, along with Batta.

The previous episode saw Kawaki, Sarada, and Mitsuki learning that Kiseru was an Outer of Kara. With another threat on the loom, fans can expect "Boruto" Episode 279 to be another action-packed.

Kiseru will be playing a major role in the next episode. Boruto and Batta will start to scrutinize him after learning about his real personality.

They have suspected that he is a traitor, given that he is a Kara member. From there, another fight will ensue during the game, giving him the opportunity to try and kill Boruto and Batta.

Will this mean the end for the two in "Boruto" Episode 279? With this intense turn of events, fans believe the ongoing Labyrinth Game arc is directly connected to the Code arc.

Sarada and Mitsuki now have the lead they need to bring them somewhere. As they may make a move to try, locate, and infiltrate the base, they may never have the chance to interfere in the next episode.

Meanwhile, "Boruto" Episode 278, titled "Musical Chairs," saw the surviving eight passengers talking about their motivations behind wanting to survive the twisted game of life and death. Ouga suddenly appeared during their discussion and announced that the third game, Pressure, was about to start.

The survivors were teleported to a room again. However, the room had a high ceiling with six switches on each wall this time.

When the survivors pressed the first five buttons, the ceiling started to spiral downward. Spikes appeared from the top while the walls released growing blades, causing them to panic.

The last switch turned the blade off, but the ceiling continued to descend. Soon, Boruto realized there was something at the bottom of the floor.

Batta used her jutsu to find the weakest spot on the floor and break it, which helped save them.

"Boruto" is the sequel to the original manga series "Naruto." Written and illustrated by Mikio Ikemoto and supervised by Masashi Kishimoto, it started its serialization in June 2016 in Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump.

It follows the story of Boruto's exploit during his academy days, and it continuously happens. It also shows the character development of Boruto and the dark forces that always challenge his fate and his loved ones.

"Boruto" Episode 279 is set to be out on Saturday, December 10.
