Eiichiro Oda sent fans a message at the recent "One Piece" JUMP Festa Super Stage 2023 through the anime's voice actors to assure fans the manga would have a proper ending. It has been officially announced that the series is now on its final arc and nearing its conclusion, and readers will surely have a good time.

In fact, as early as now, it can be noticed that Oda is trying his best to make every chapter one of its bests. So, by the looks of it, the fun will continue as "One Piece" makes its way to its final pages.

Through the anime's voice actor, the manga creator told fans he would ensure the manga had the proper ending it needed. The franchise started in 1997 in the shōnen manga anthology Weekly Shōnen Jump.

Twenty-five years have passed, and it has turned into a huge franchise. Hence, the mangaka has nothing but a grateful heart for everyone who has supported the series.

That said, aside from the nearing ending of "One Piece," he also talked about the upcoming projects of the franchise.

Oda teased there would be more stories to tell, though the manga is now on its final arc. He asked fans to sit back and relax as the manga "would not end anytime soon."

He also hinted that fans are about to witness a fight between two characters in what he described as an "epic battle royale." Who can it be? Of course, fans have started making theories about it.

He even teased that there's "where the story is heading." There are several matchups fans have been waiting to happen in the series.

Everything is possible, from Mihawk's fight against Zoro or Shanks to a battle between Shanks and Luffy or Blackbeard.

In addition, Oda touched on the future "One Piece" projects, starting with a video game that has been six years in the making. Titled "One Piece Odyssey," it will finally be soon released.

There will also be different stage events, while the "Hollywood Live-Anion" will be in the works as the first season is going through rough drafts. Moreover, there will be a lot of work behind the scenes, though he admitted that he's worried during the process.

"But it's really great!" he continued. From there, he asked fans to continuously look forward to what "One Piece" has to offer in 2023. The manga is now on its 1070th chapter, while the anime is on its 1046th episode.
