Takemichi is now back in the past and about to change things properly. He will once again try to save Hina's life in "Tokyo Revengers" Season 2 Episode 2, but will he succeed this time?

Every time Takemichi tries to make a move to save Hina, it always ends up in a terrible disaster. However, he learns from his mistakes at the same time, meaning he may have an improvement in "Tokyo Revengers" Season 2 Episode 2.

Kisaki Tetta plays a major role in this part of the story. He's the consistent factor connected to Hina's death in all timelines. There's also a deeper story behind his proclamation that Takemichi is his hero in the previous season finale that will be uncovered as time goes by.

In "Tokyo Revengers" Season 2 Episode 1, "It is What It is," Takemichi learned the details of the horrific timeline he had created. Kazutora saved Takemichi, and the two managed to go to a place where they were safe from Kisaki.

He was briefing him about the current state of Toman and what was going on in this timeline. Mikey, alternatively, had become completely corrupted and switched over.

He was calling out orders that were far different from the Mikey everyone knew. Elsewhere, Naota met Takemichi in the alleyway.

However, it was a friendly meet-up but an ambush and arrest. He showed him video evidence of what an "evil gang's top executive looked like." But that guy was, unfortunately, Takemichi. What happens here can be seen when "Tokyo Revengers" Season 2 Episode 2 comes out.

Meanwhile, the current season of "Tokyo Revengers" has been revealed to have 13 episodes. Hence, the entire season is expected to be out throughout the winter 2023 anime season.

However, fans can't help but compare it to the previous season, which had 24 episodes count and adapted three arcs from Ken Wakui's manga: Toman Arc, Moebius Arc, and Valhalla Arc.

The second season, alternatively, adapted the fourth arc, Christmas Showdown Arc. But given that it's only composed of 13 episodes, the current season may not feature other storylines.

This just means fans may have to wait a little more before seeing the Tenjiku Arc and other arcs that will follow. Though Christmas Showdown Arc is a fan-favorite, many want to see the Tenjiku Arc get animated, too.

"Tokyo Revengers" Season 2 Episode 2 will drop on Saturday, January 14. Fortunately, the series has no breaks yet.
