The missing head of Abby Choi, a Hong Kong socialite and influential figure, was found in one of two large pots containing soup and human parts, days after her gruesome murder was revealed.

Who was Abby Choi?

Abby Choi was a Hong Kong-born model.

Choi appeared on the cover of the fashion and luxury lifestyle magazine L'Officiel Monaco in a beige-colored gown less than two weeks ago.

The 28-year-old model was reported missing on Tuesday. Then on Friday, her decapitated body was discovered in a country house in Tai Po, a Hong Kong suburb.

She has more than 100,000 Instagram followers and was apparently frequently spotted with celebs.

What happened to Abby Choi?

On Feb. 24, some of her remains were discovered in a rented apartment. Friday, portions of the model's body were discovered in the Tai Po residence; her legs were recovered from a refrigerator. The crime scene also yielded a meat slicer, an electric saw, a hammer, face shields, and black raincoats.

"Police have found that the flat was arranged by cold-blooded killers meticulously," police superintendent Alan Chung said. "Tools that are used to dismember human bodies were found in the flat, including meat grinders, chainsaws, long raincoats, gloves, and masks."

The horrible find was uncovered by police in the apartment rented by the ex-father-in-law of the 28-year-old. Police discovered Choi's identification card, credit cards, and other goods at his residence.

Moreover, Choi's ex-mother- and father-in-law and ex-brother-in-law were arrested. They were arrested on Friday, and have now all been charged in connection with Choi's death.

Her ex-father-in-law and her former spouse's older brother, age 31, have been charged with murder, while her ex-mother-in-law has been charged with obstructing justice.

Police believe Choi had financial difficulties with her ex-husband and his family over a property she planned to sell for 100 million Hong Kong dollars.

Was Abby Choi married?

Police said that Choi's ex-husband, a 28-year-old man called Kwong, was apprehended on Saturday while attempting to depart the city on a speedboat. Her two children with her husband have been placed in the care of Choi's mother.

Saturday, Superintendent Chung announced during a news conference that the ex-husband of a model was apprehended while attempting to flee at a dock in Tung Chung, on one of the city's outlying islands, Lantau.

Superintendent Chung stated that police believed he intended to flee via sea at the time of his detention.

The police stated that the investigation, which included determining the cause of death, was ongoing.
