In her appearance on "Watch What Happens Live," Wilson detailed her introduction to Prince Harry and Meghan through their mutual friend. However, she had a very different opinion about the royal couple.
The 43-year-old said the Duke of Sussex "couldn't have been nicer." But when it came to the Duchess of Sussex, she stated she "wasn't as cool."
However, it looked like the "Pitch Perfect" star knew the reason behind it after revealing her mom's questions might be why the former actress didn't "warm up to her."
Wilson told the host Andy Cohen that her mother, an Australian, asked Meghan "slightly rude questions," like where her kids were and other things. Hence, she thought the "Suits" star might be asking herself who were these "annoying convicts from Australia." "I'm like, 'Mum, don't ask her that,'" she continued.
Fans have mixed reactions to the "Senior Year" star's revelations. One critic tweeted that Wilson was talking negatively about Meghan because she didn't respond to rude questions and should have more material than it, calling it "boring."
Another claimed the British people's entitlement toward Meghan's child was "above strange." A third person wrote that the mother-of-two's mask had come off, adding real celebrities and Hollywood elites were already starting to tell the truth that she wasn't a hugger or a warm personality as she disrespected Wilson's mother.
Someone also said that she believed Wilson's judgment, calling Meghan a "narcissist" and acting like a monarch when she married Prince Harry, whom she named a "spare to the throne."
It wasn't the first time Wilson talked about Prince Harry and Meghan. She once mocked the two and their bombshell interview with Oprah Winfrey, in which they talked about her suicidal thoughts and their feeling of being emotionally and financially abandoned by the royal family
While introducing the nominees during the BAFTA 2022 Film Awards, she mentioned that Prince Harry and Meghan's Oprah interview had everything from drama to fantasy. However, Wilson found it unfortunate that it wasn't nominated in the category, though some incredible films were.
From there, Wilson introduced some of the most outstanding British films that year. Meghan and Prince Harry are yet to give a comment on the claim.
