K-pop girl group, Le Sserafim, has demonstrated their soaring popularity on the U.S. Billboard charts.
As per the latest chart published by the U.S. music magazine Billboard on June 21st (local time), Le Sserafim's (comprising members Kim Chaewon, Sakura, Heo Yunjin, Kazuha, Hong Eun-chae) first studio album 'UNFORGIVEN' has secured the 146th position on the main album chart, the 'Billboard 200'.
'UNFORGIVEN' has claimed its spot on the 'Billboard 200' for the sixth consecutive week, setting a new record for the longest-charting 4th generation K-pop girl group. The album has also maintained high positions on other charts, including 6th on the 'World Albums', 19th on the 'Top Current Album Sales', and 20th on the 'Top Album Sales'.
Following the previous week, three songs by Le Sserafim have charted on Billboard this week as well. The title track of the first album 'UNFORGIVEN (feat. Nile Rodgers)' landed at 39th on the 'Billboard Global (Excluding U.S.)' and 72nd on the 'Billboard Global 200'. Their mini second album title track 'ANTIFRAGILE', released in October last year, claimed the 186th spot on the 'Billboard Global (Excluding U.S.)'.
Attention was also given to the unexpected rise of 'Eve, Psyche, and Bluebeard's Wife', a track from their first album. The song climbed to 38th on the 'Billboard Global (Excluding U.S.)' and 71st on the 'Billboard Global 200', breaking its own record for the second week in a row.
The song scored 2nd, 4th, and 4th place respectively on the daily charts of Bugs, Melon, and Genie on the 20th, and topped the Bugs real-time chart at 12:00 AM on the 21st, showcasing impressive chart longevity both domestically and internationally.
On the 20th, Le Sserafim launched the 'Eve, Psyche, and _' campaign. Fans could participate by adding their own lyrics to the blank version of 'Eve, Psyche, and Bluebeard's Wife', creating and sharing a personalized version of the song. Notable participants in this endeavor included singer BIBI and rapper CAMO.
