The pre-release single 'Super Shy' from the group NewJeans has successfully entered the UK Official Singles 'Top 100' chart - a tremendous achievement just one week after its release.

One of the triple title tracks from NewJeans' (Minji, Hani, Daniel, Haerin, Hyein) second mini-album 'Get Up,' 'Super Shy' ranked 59th on the UK Official Singles 'Top 100' chart announced on July 14 (local time).

'Super Shy' is the second song from NewJeans to make it onto the UK Official Singles 'Top 100.' Earlier this year in January, NewJeans managed to place their pre-released track 'Ditto' from the single album 'OMG' at 95th on the same chart.

It took approximately four weeks for 'Ditto' to enter the UK Official Singles 'Top 100.' Although this was a meaningful achievement for a rookie group that had only debuted six months earlier, 'Super Shy' heralds an even stronger start, indicating NewJeans' sharp growth trajectory.

In addition, NewJeans achieved their personal best by securing the 9th spot (as of July 13) on Spotify's U.S. 'Daily Top Songs.' This primes them for anticipated success on the U.S. Billboard charts, considered one of the two major pop charts globally alongside the UK Official.

The moves made by NewJeans, who are expanding their influence in the mainstream pop markets in the U.S. and UK even before fully launching their international activities, are garnering attention. NewJeans is set to take the stage at the major American music festival 'Lollapalooza Chicago' on the 3rd of next month. This opportunity is expected to further increase NewJeans' stature and influence.

They are already dominating domestic charts. 'Super Shy' is holding firm at the top of major domestic music charts such as Melon, Genie, Bugs, and Flo. With the release of their second mini-album 'Get Up' on the 21st, which includes a total of six tracks including the other title songs 'ETA' and 'Cool With You,' the 'NewJeans Syndrome' is expected to continue.

NewJeans premiered their pre-release stage on KBS 2TV's 'Music Bank' on the 14th. They caught the eye with the upbeat and dynamic choreography of 'Super Shy' and the distinctive dance of the five members in 'New Jeans,' reminiscent of the 'Powerpuff Girls.' NewJeans is set to appear on SBS's 'Inkigayo' on July 16th.
