Top idol group member Jungkook of BTS (BTS, RM, Jin, Jimin, J-Hope, Suga, V, Jungkook) has conquered the U.S. and Japanese music charts with his first solo single.

According to the latest Spotify chart (as of July 14th), the solo single "Seven" (feat. Latto) released by Jungkook shot straight to #1 with 15,995,378 streams on the Daily Top Songs Global Chart. This makes Jungkook the first Korean solo artist to enter and reach #1 on the Spotify Global Chart. According to Spotify, the number of streams for "Seven" has set an all-time record for a new entry on the Top Songs Global Chart.

On the Spotify Daily Top Songs Global Chart, the 'Seven' Instrumental also landed at #65, and Jungkook's solo songs "Still With You" and "My You", which were previously released for free and recently made available on domestic and foreign music platforms, ranked #54 and #113 respectively.

"Seven" simultaneously debuted at #1, #2, and #4 on the latest Daily Digital Single Ranking (as of July 14th) announced by Oricon. The "Clean Ver." and "Explicit Ver." of the song ranked 1st and 2nd with 17,142 and 9,625 downloads respectively, while the Instrumental version took 4th place.

Earlier, "Seven" had swept the top spot in iTunes Top Songs charts in 106 countries/regions immediately after its release (as of 9 am on the 15th). Additionally, it climbed to #1 on Melon TOP 100, the largest domestic music site, just 11 hours after release (based on 0:00 on the 15th), setting a new record for the shortest time to achieve #1 as a male solo artist.

"Seven" is a track that combines an addictive melody, the warm sound of an acoustic guitar, and the rhythm of the "UK garage" genre (electronic music created in the UK in the early 1990s). Jungkook's melodious vocals enhance the charm of the song.
