BTS member Jungkook captivated audiences with a flawless live performance on the UK's BBC Radio 1 'Live Lounge'.

Jungkook made his appearance on the 'Live Lounge' on July 20. Approximately two years after BTS' participation in the program in 2021, he returned as a solo artist, unveiling the stage for his debut solo single "Seven (feat. Latto)" and a cover song.

Introduced by the host as a "global pop star", Jungkook, overjoyed to return to the program, greeted listeners with his live performance of "Seven" and a cover of the UK rock band Oasis' "Let There Be Love".

During the interview with the host, Jungkook could not hide his excitement about his solo song "Seven", saying, "I have been waiting to meet my fans with good music and finally, the time has come." In response to a question about his memories of the UK, he cleverly replied, "BTS's Wembley concert was the last one. The memories from that time are great, but now is the new 'best moment'," drawing applause.

Finally, conveying his love and gratitude to the fans, Jungkook responded to the host's question about BTS' recent activities, saying, "Through solo activities, each member is expressing their unique personalities and colors and growing continually. Based on this, when we (as a full group) reunite next time, BTS' appearance will be great, and the synergy will be extraordinary. I'm eager to see this as soon as possible."

"Seven" ranked first on Mnet's 'M Countdown' broadcast on July 20. The song also maintained its top spot on the 'Daily Top Song Global' chart released by the world's largest music streaming company Spotify (as of July 19) for six consecutive days, boasting daily streams of over 11.84 million. It also achieved 100 million streams just six days after its release.
