Before the match, the official Instagram account of Manchester City posted a photo of Haaland and Jisoo holding the team's uniform. Haaland reciprocated the gesture by posting the same photo on his Twitter account with the caption, "When in Seoul... ". This interaction sparked anticipation among fans for a possible collaboration.
Coupang Play subsequently released a teaser video of an interview featuring Haaland and Jisoo. In the clip, Jisoo was seen teaching Haaland the steps to her "FLOWER" dance challenge. The single, Jisoo's solo debut, was released on March 31.
Fans expressed their excitement in the comments section of the teaser video. One user commented, "Oh my god, the monster Haaland doing the flower challenge," while another said, "Jisoo is a legend for this." Another fan noted the significance of the collaboration, stating, "If they got Jisoo to do an interview with the player and this is not her field, this means that she literally represents Korea."
