BTS's Jungkook has marked yet another milestone on the U.S. Billboard charts.
According to the latest charts (dated August 12) released by the U.S. music magazine Billboard on August 8th (local time), Jungkook's "Seven (feat. Latto)" claimed the top spot on both the 'Global 200' and the 'Global Excl. U.S.' charts.
Jungkook maintained the top position on the respective charts, which rank tracks based on streaming and sales data from over 200 countries/regions worldwide, for three consecutive weeks. This achievement marks the first time a Korean solo artist has held the #1 spot for three weeks in a row on both the 'Global 200' and 'Global Excl. U.S.' charts.
Additionally, "Seven" secured the 30th position on Billboard's main singles chart, the 'Hot 100'. Just a week after its release on the 14th of the previous month, the song swiftly ascended to the #1 spot on the 'Hot 100' (dated July 29th) and continued to receive immense love, maintaining its top-tier ranking for three weeks.
It's not just Jungkook; other BTS members have also been enjoying steady popularity on the Billboard charts through their individual endeavors. Jimin's debut solo album title track, "Like Crazy", from the album 'FACE', released last March, has been ranked on the 'Global Excl. U.S.' at #47 and on 'Global 200' at #70 for 19 consecutive weeks.
BTS's feats on the album-specific charts remain commendable as well. On the 'World Albums' chart, Jimin's 'FACE' is ranked 9th, BTS's anthology album 'Proof' sits at 13th. Meanwhile, on the 'Top Current Albums' chart, Suga's solo album 'D-DAY' claims the 45th position, RM's solo 'INDIGO' is at 56th, and Jimin's 'FACE' secures the 64th spot. Additionally, on the 'Top Album Sales', Suga's 'D-DAY' made its mark at #75.
