BLACKPINK, the chart-topping K-pop girl group, is set to conclude their massive world tour with a bang in Seoul.
On August 16, their agency YG Entertainment confirmed that the "BLACKPINK WORLD TOUR [BORN PINK] FINALE IN SEOUL" will be held over two days, on September 16 and 17. This final act in Seoul marks the end of an approximately 11-month tour that lit up 41 cities in iconic BLACKPINK fashion.
The group promises a completely different setlist and stage from their previous performance in Seoul last year. The production will incorporate elements from their critically acclaimed set at the 'Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival', ensuring a diverse and high-quality performance that captures the unique beauty of Korean culture.
Significantly, the performance on the 17th will be concurrently broadcasted online, drawing much attention. This provides a golden opportunity for global BLINKs (their fandom name) who can't physically attend the concert to experience the excitement and emotions of the live event, which is expected to generate a lot of positive reactions.
Pre-sale tickets for the "BLACKPINK WORLD TOUR [BORN PINK] FINALE IN SEOUL" offline event will be available on Interpark Tickets at 8 PM on August 29th. The pre-sale is targeted at BLINK MEMBERSHIP holders, and participation can be accessed through pre-application on Weverse. General ticket sales begin at 7 PM on September 1. Online live streaming tickets will be available for purchase on Weverse Shop from 8 PM on August 29.
A representative from YG expressed, "We're thrilled to reconnect with our fans in Korea, where the tour kicked off. The members were particularly passionate about having an encore performance in Seoul." They added, "Both the staff and artists are pouring their hearts into creating the best stage. Details on the venue will be announced in due course."
Meanwhile, BLACKPINK's "BLACKPINK WORLD TOUR [BORN PINK]" has been nothing short of groundbreaking, mobilizing around 1.75 million attendees, making it the largest world tour by a K-pop girl group. They recently reignited their connection with U.S. fans with stadium tours across four North American cities, including New Jersey, Las Vegas, San Francisco, and Los Angeles, starting on the 11th (local time).
