BTS's Jungkook has showcased his 'world-class solo power' by sweeping the top ranks of the Circle's Weekly Global K-pop Chart with "Seven."
According to the Korea Music Content Association, which operates the Circle Chart (formerly Gaon Chart), Jungkook's "Seven Clean Version" secured the number one spot for the week of August 13th to 19th.
Furthermore, the "Seven Explicit Version" followed closely, clinching the second spot on the weekly global K-pop chart, demonstrating an unparalleled dominance by occupying both the first and second positions.
Given that this chart ranks based on global K-pop streaming counts, it provides a glimpse into the immense popularity and impact "Seven" has had over the week.
Previously, "Seven" had already made its mark on the Circle Chart from July 16th to 22nd, with the "Explicit Version" at number one and the "Clean Version" at number three.
Moreover, from its release date on July 17th to the 25th, the "Explicit Version" maintained its top position on the Circle's Daily Global K-pop Chart for six consecutive days, showcasing its formidable streaming power.

"Seven" has also been making waves on Spotify, the world's largest music streaming platform. It has been number one on Spotify's "Daily Top Song Global" chart for a record-breaking 41 days for an Asian artist and has held the top spot on the "Daily Top Song Korea" chart for 42 days, the longest for a K-pop solo artist.
Additionally, "Seven" achieved 100 million streams (pre-filtering) on Spotify in the fastest time in history, just within six days. It also set records for reaching 200 million streams in 14 days, 300 million in 23 days, and 400 million in 33 days.
Furthermore, "Seven" has made significant strides on South Korea's largest music platform, Melon. It reached the top of the main "Top 100" chart in just 11 hours, setting the record for the fastest solo track to do so in 2023. It also became the first male idol song in 2023 to achieve the top spot on the "Top 100" and set a record for being number one for a cumulative 100 hours.
On another note, Jungkook has made waves in the U.S. with "Seven," entering the Billboard's main singles chart "Hot 100" at number one and maintaining a position within the top 30 for five consecutive weeks. He also set a record as the first Asian solo artist to simultaneously rank number one on both the "Global 200" and "Global Excluding U.S." charts for five consecutive weeks, further solidifying his status as a global pop star.
