BTS member Jimin is making history as a solo artist on the South Korean Spotify Top Artist Chart. According to the latest Spotify charts released on May 5th, Jimin has clinched the first place for the 300th time, a record-setting achievement that marks him as the first and only artist to reach this milestone in the chart's history.

Previously, on May 3rd, Jimin topped the South Korean Spotify Weekly Top Artist Chart (April 26 - May 2), becoming the first and only soloist to lead the chart for 45 weeks. This continuing success showcases his immense popularity and consistent streaming numbers.

Spotify's Top Artist Chart ranks artists based on who has the most streams on a given day or week. Jimin has maintained his top position over a prolonged period, driven by the popularity of his title track "Like Crazy," other songs from his album 'FACE,' and various collaborations, all of which enjoy widespread listener engagement.

"Like Crazy," in particular, has achieved significant acclaim, being the first K-pop solo song to ever top the Spotify Global Top Songs Chart. On April 25th, marking the first time since Spotify launched in Korea, "Like Crazy" became the only song to achieve the 200th daily number one position. It continued to break records by claiming the 30th weekly number one spot on the charts announced on April 26th.

As of the latest chart update on May 6th, "Like Crazy" has secured the 211th daily number one position and continued its lead for the 31st week, constantly setting records for the most number one positions in both daily and weekly charts on Spotify in Korea.

In December last year, as part of Spotify's annual Wrapped campaign that highlights music trends, Jimin was announced as the most-streamed artist in Korea for 2023. Even during his military service, his music and chart presence remain at the top, underscoring his unparalleled impact and sustained popularity in the music industry.
