Sean "Diddy" Combs faces another lawsuit amid mounting allegations of sexual misconduct. According to legal documents filed on October 20 in the Southern District of New York, a man identified as John Doe claims that a professional athlete stopped the music mogul from sexually assaulting him during a 2022 party. The incident allegedly took place at a promotional event for Diddy's Ciroc vodka brand in Los Angeles, where several high-profile guests were present.

The plaintiff, who runs a luxury car and jewelry rental business, alleges that Diddy invited him to a private office during the party. Once inside, the lawsuit claims that Combs, visibly intoxicated, exposed himself and then made inappropriate advances. "Combs continued to move closer and then grabbed Plaintiff's genitals through his pants, squeezing them in a rough and sexual manner," the lawsuit states. Doe reportedly froze in shock, unsure how to respond to what he described as a "weirdly inappropriate sexual advance." The situation escalated until a professional athlete, identified in the documents as "Professional Athlete A," entered the room and intervened, ending the alleged assault.

The legal filing also included a photograph taken by the plaintiff of Combs sitting with guests at the party, although their faces were blurred out. Doe claims that the incident has caused him "significant emotional distress and trauma," and he continues to struggle with the psychological consequences of the event. Combs' legal team has denied the allegations, calling them part of a media frenzy designed to smear their client's reputation. In a statement issued on October 1, Diddy's attorney stated, "Mr. Combs and his legal team have full confidence in the facts, their legal defenses, and the integrity of the judicial process. In court, the truth will prevail: Mr. Combs has never sexually assaulted anyone-adult or minor, man or woman."

This lawsuit adds to the growing number of legal actions against Combs, who has faced serious accusations since November 2023, when his ex-girlfriend Cassie filed a lawsuit alleging sexual assault, abuse, and rape. While Cassie's lawsuit was settled swiftly, it opened the floodgates for additional claims. In total, five new lawsuits were filed on October 20, including one by a woman who alleges she was raped by Combs when she was just 13 years old. These cases are being handled by high-profile attorney Tony Buzbee, who represents more than 100 individuals accusing Combs of sexual misconduct. Buzbee stated that the number of victims is substantial and continues to grow.

The latest allegations also come on the heels of Diddy's September 16 arrest on charges of sex trafficking, racketeering, and transportation to engage in prostitution. According to the 14-page indictment, federal authorities in New York City allege that Combs orchestrated events known as "Freak Offs," during which he filmed "elaborate and produced sex performances" and forced participants into extended sexual acts with male commercial sex workers. Homeland Security conducted raids on Combs' Miami and Los Angeles residences in March, reportedly seizing narcotics, firearms, and various items allegedly used during these parties.

Combs has maintained his innocence throughout the legal process, pleading not guilty to all charges. However, he has been denied bail and remains incarcerated at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn. His legal team has continued to emphasize their belief that Diddy will be vindicated. Speaking on CNN's The Source with Kaitlan Collins, Diddy's lawyer, Marc Agnifilo, expressed confidence, stating, "He is going to go to trial. And I believe he's going to win."

As the music mogul's trial looms in May 2025, the public continues to grapple with the fallout from the disturbing allegations. The lawsuits and criminal charges have prompted a widespread reevaluation of Combs' legacy, once celebrated for his contributions to the music and entertainment industry. Diddy's legal team remains steadfast, dismissing the new lawsuits as publicity stunts aimed at tarnishing his reputation. "The press conference and 1-800 number that preceded [Sunday's] barrage of filings were clear attempts to garner publicity," the team said in a recent statement. They are confident that the judicial process will ultimately exonerate Combs.
