During his press conference at Mar-a-Lago on Tuesday, October 29, Donald Trump was tardy again.
"Trump just showed up for his 'press conference' at his own house 1 hour and 20 minutes late. He is now standing there while his theme song plays," Ron Filipkowski, a Trump critic, wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter.
Naturally, the public was not taken aback by the former president's theatrics. One individual wrote, "He showed up with his lies!" Another individual stated, "Boy, I know dictators love to stand there for minutes in front of crowds!"
"He looks truly unwell at this point. Yikes," a third individual commented.
Donald Trump, who is 78 years old, also refrained from interacting with the audience.
"A very tired and low energy Trump ends his 'press conference' by refusing to take a single question," one individual emphasized on X.
As OK! Magazine previously reported Trump's mental viability has been questioned in anticipation of the 2024 election.
Trump appeared to avoid engaging with certain outlets despite his opponent, Kamala Harris, conducting interviews with numerous outlets.
"But as no interview materialized, Shade Room staff began feeling that feet were being dragged inside Trump’s campaign. No date was ever set, we’re told, but the intention was to try and work toward a sit-down," as previously reported by Politico, "In a conversation earlier this week, when describing why an interview hadn’t come together just yet, a Trump adviser told The Shade Room producers that Trump was 'exhausted and refusing [some] interviews but that could change' at any time, according to two people familiar with the conversations."
Karoline Leavitt, a Trump official, refuted the reports, stating that the former president was "exhausted " and calling them “unequivocally false.”
Trump caused alarm at a rally in Las Vegas on October 24 when he could not make a statement.
"Tip workers and service workers here in Nevada, increasing the so-called..." he said before he could not complete the sentence.
"Cognitively impaired 100 year old looking slurring Trump couldn’t even read his teleprompter last night." The caption was posted alongside the video on X, previously known as Twitter.
"'So called Tipala.' His brain is so addled he's unknowingly creating portmanteaus from the words Kamala and Tip," one individual wrote, while another responded, "He is getting tired."
"It's just insane. It really is," a third individual chimed in, while another exclaimed, "I believe it's just mental impairment. In other words, he's stupid!!"
Meanwhile, in the days that followed a comedian's racist remark and his description of Puerto Rico as a "floating island of garbage" at one of Donald Trump's rallies in Pennsylvania, the president of the United States of America lauded Puerto Ricans on Tuesday during a rally in Pennsylvania, as per The Guardian.
During a rally in Allentown, which is located in the Lehigh Valley and has a sizeable Latino population, the former president made the statement, "Nobody loves our Latino community and our Puerto Rican community more than I do." This statement was made a little more than an hour into the rally.
The data from the United States Census indicates that more than 68,000 people in Allentown are of Hispanic or Latino descent, which accounts for more than half of the total population. A Puerto Rican flag was displayed on the door of a house a few blocks away from the gathering.
In addition, he asserted that Puerto Rico had benefited greatly from his presidency. As a result of Trump's actions, which included blocking storm help and mulling over the possibility of selling the island, he was ridiculed for throwing paper towels into a throng on the island after it had been devastated by a hurricane.
Additionally, he went on to praise the rally that took place at Madison Square Garden, stating that "the love was unbelievable." He also related a rambling anecdote about seeing a SpaceX rocket, which lasted longer than his talk about Puerto Ricans.
The campaign is making a push to win over Puerto Rican voters in Pennsylvania, which is the most important battleground state in this election and where polls show a tight race. Many of the speakers on Tuesday, including the official from Puerto Rico, Zoraida Buxó, emphasized their Puerto Rican roots.
"We will not be shaken, and we will not give in to foolishness, ignorance, or irrational thoughtlessness," she stated.
Senator Marco Rubio, who was also a speaker at the rally, joined President Trump onstage during the former president's remarks. He shared with the audience comments that Joe Biden had made on Tuesday, Politico reported. In those comments, the president condemned the remarks that Biden had made about Puerto Ricans.
He said, "The only garbage I see floating out there is his supporters – his – his demonization of Latinos is unconscionable, and it's un-American," according to a transcript from the White House. As a result of Republicans spreading a clip of the statement and claiming it was an attack on people who support Trump, Vice President Biden issued a statement clarifying that he intended to speak to the comic who made the joke.
In the moments before the start of the event on Tuesday, a small demonstration made its way to the arena. During the demonstration, some participants carried signs that read "Latinos for Harris-Walz," while others were wearing the flag of Puerto Rico.
Luis Gonzalez, a retired truck driver from Allentown who was 65 years old, was one of the individuals who participated in the march. His sweatshirt has the Puerto Rican flag sewn on it, and he wore it proudly.
On the other hand, he stated, "The guy has no idea what he's talking about. It was in Puerto Rico when I was born. This island, along with all of the other islands that are located in the vicinity, is stunning."
"Anyone who claims that it is a garbage island has never been to the Caribbean," the speaker said.
However, within the crowd, not many individuals believed that the backlash from the comment would have a significant impact on Trump. It had not been heard by all.
"I must confess that it was made in a manner that was impolite. However, Donald Trump is Donald Trump," said Mark Melendez, who is 55 years old and hails from Puerto Rico. Melendez drove all the way from New Jersey to attend the gathering. Although I don't believe it will have an effect on him, it could.
There was at least one person in the audience who was waving a placard that read "Boricuas for Trump," which is a word that is used to refer to persons who are of Puerto Rican heritage.
Sixty-year-old Jackie Beller, who lives near Allentown, found the prank humorous.
"Yes, you would be offended if you took a comedian out of context and looked at it as a serious thing," Beller said. "You would be offended at the comedian."
"It's all a joke – I've spoken to some Puerto Rican people and they weren't offended, so I don't know," said Mary Mendez, 65, a retired paramedic from New York. "I don't know what's going on."
As the last week of the presidential contest began, President Trump delivered a speech that included a variety of topics, including personal attacks, grievances, anti-immigrant rhetoric, and a few policy proposals.
As an illustration of how he is preparing his followers to contest the election results in the event that he is unsuccessful, he made the accusation that Democrats had already cheated by intentionally distorting an inquiry that is currently taking on in Lancaster county.
It was less of an appeal to people who were still unsure and more of a full-throated plea to his base, in which he promised that he would be able to cure all of the problems that the United States is facing.
This is going to be a memorable moment in time. It is going to be the American nation's new golden age. "There is a solution to every problem that we are currently facing," he stated.
In the midst of Kamala Harris's concluding remarks in Washington, during which she referred to Donald Trump as "unstable" and "obsessed with revenge," Trump referred to Harris as a "low-IQ individual" and pondered the possibility of exacting revenge upon Michelle Obama for her criticism of him during the campaign trial.
In his words, "Michelle Obama was a very horrible person." "In order to show Michelle that I care, I have gone above and beyond. In no way, shape, or form have you mentioned her. I was struck by her.
