When Mariah Carey testifies in an explosive defamation lawsuit filed by her brother, Morgan Carey, for $1.25 million, she is expected to reveal some of the most horrifying family secrets ever revealed.
According to The National Enquirer, Mariah, who is now 55 years old, would disclose precise information about the pain she endured at the hands of her mother after her father, Alfred, abandoned the family and left them hopeless when she was just three years old.
Among the incidents that she has already disclosed is the widespread use of drugs in the home, where she and her siblings were frequently left to fend for themselves with little to no supervision.
Morgan, who is 64 years old, has even asserted that Mariah and their sister, Alison, took part in their mother's satanic sex-cult rituals and sacrificed animals!
During January, Morgan's pit bull attorney, Richard Roth, will conduct a deposition in which he will question the singer of the hit song "Hero" in a manner that is both video and under oath.
“The Meaning of Mariah Carey,” her controversial biography released in 2020, is expected to provoke a barrage of questions from him.
In 2021, Morgan sued his sister for accusing him of physical abuse and drug dealing in their teens, as per The Daily Mail.
"More often, I felt I had to protect myself from him, and sometimes I would find myself protecting my mother from him too," Mariah wrote. "I would describe it as inner circle common knowledge at the time that Morgan was heavily involved in the Manhattan night life scene and that he often was in possession of cocaine and provided it to members of the night life crowd that he associated with."
Morgan blasts the claims as "false and defamatory, personally invasive and painful."
The family rivalry began months after the “All I Want for Christmas Is You” singer and Morgan buried their mother, Patricia, 87, and drug-addled Alison, 63, on the same day in August, BBC reported.
Alison's book-related lawsuit went unresolved before her death. Despite her recent heartbreak, the Queen of Christmas is marketing her signature song and selling holiday products on Amazon, earning an estimated $3 million annually.
The source indicated that Mariah likely wants the resolution of this familial conflict for Christmas.
