President Trump is demanding answers after accusing major oil companies of not passing lower oil prices on to consumers.
In a Truth Social post early Wednesday, Trump said crude oil prices have been falling sharply, but gas prices at the pump are not dropping at the same pace.
"Customers are being 'gouged.'" Trump claimed.
Trump announced that he has instructed the Department of Justice to immediately investigate the situation and warned that gasoline prices need to come down much faster.
"Gasoline prices better start going down a lot faster than what I'm seeing!" He warned.
